INRC Forum 12/12/2023. Clairaudience: Intel N-DNS Challenge Track 1 (Algorithmic) Winner.
Tuesday, December 12, 2023, @ 4:00-5:00pm PT you are invited to attend an INRC Forum talk from Clairaudience: Intel N-DNS Challenge Track 1 (Algorithmic) Winner.
Title:
Toward Next-Generation Neuromorphic Audio Denoising with Spiking-FullSubNet.
Abstract:
Our presentation will delve into the Spiking-FullSubNet system, a novel neuromorphic denoiser we developed for the Intel Neuromorphic Deep Noise Suppression Challenge. The system introduces a Spiking Neural Network (SNN)-based model that operates on both full-band and sub-band audio signals for the purpose of audio denoising. Central to the system is a Gated Spiking Neuron (GSN), which represents our latest effort in adapting spiking neuron models to the challenges of real-time audio processing. The GSN model is seamlessly integrated within a modified FullSubNet framework, which has been meticulously refined to enhance computational efficiency and bolster performance. Our presentation will illuminate the components of the Spiking-FullSubNet system and offer insights into the strategic rationale behind our design decisions.
